I am happy to announce the P for Peckish nutritional advisor, Glen Matten MSc.
Glen Matten holds a Masters Degree in Nutritional Medicine from the University of Surrey and has run successful clinics across the UK for over a decade. Glen is an award-winning author of two books, The 100 Foods You Should Be Eating (an ode to his predilection for good food) and The Health Delusion (a commitment to bringing rock-solid health advice to the general public).
Glen feels research into the health of vegetarians is actually very favourable,
and if well planned, a vegetarian diet can be extremely healthy. Indeed,
plant-based foods are linked with very good health outcomes: fruit and
vegetables (multiple health benefits), nuts (strongly linked with a lower
risk of heart disease), wholegrain cereals (protective against heart
disease, diabetes, obesity, and some cancers), and legumes (protective
